Kim Weeks Cottage Blog
I have a tiny little cottage in Southeast Michigan, Zone 6a. I just started planting there this year. I'm hoping to attract lots of hummingbirds :)

Owls
Pictures my friend took. So cute! I love owl's! Not sure what kind they are! Look at Mama with her baby! That's a baby only a mother could love! The top one is adorable!

gladiolus and sunflowers
This is at the end of our canal. There is a whole bunch of weeds, grass and wild lilys. Little by little I am going to replace all of that with plants. Just took a piece of lilac from my house-french sensation- It is purple with a little white outline on each flower when it blooms. Also put a little piece of trumpet vine by the fence. I also planted a few star gazer lilies and took some piece of my lambs ear from home. I will update as I slowly add more.

Swans and their babies, video of swans stamping their feet in water
Labels:
Swans and their babies
The first pic is some sunflower I grew from seed, to the left of those is some hollyhocks I just started from seed. In the next pic is a nastridium-which I just found out is actually a herb you can eat in your salad! Next to that is some coleus and impatiens. I moved the impatiens out of my flower boxes because I think it was too sunny there.
